Welcome to the New Jersey Association of Collection Agencies.

The NJACA is a trade association of debt collection professionals with offices in New Jersey.  Meetings are held on the third Thursday of every odd month except July at the Pines Manor in Edison.  Members have the opportunity to network with peers and share information about our industry with one another.  Please visit the Current Events tab to confirm the date, time and location of our next meeting.

As the collection industry continues to be regulated by both the federal and state governments, NJACA members must stay informed and in compliance with laws and legislative updates.  We employ a professional government lobbyist to have our voice heard in the state house and to keep us abreast of the latest developments in collection related bills and pending legislation. 

NJACA participates with the New York and Pennsylvania units in the annual Northeast Debt Collection Expo, a local educational conference.  The 2007 Expo is scheduled for September 23-26 at Caesar's in Atlantic City.  Stay tuned for more details.

Members of the NJACA also hold a dual membership with ACA International, the Association of Credit and Collection Professionals. The ACA offers information and education on compliance issues as well as guidance for agencies that want to enhance the efficiency and profitability of their offices.
