Welcome to the North Carolina Collectors Association's website.

If you are a third party debt collection agency in North Carolina and are a member of ACA International, you are also a member of the NC Collectors Association.   The NC unit is an active unit that provides the members with quality speakers at the the annual  membership meeting held each year. The two day meeting is held in the spring, usually the end of April.  Some of our previous speakers have been  Etta Maynard,  Rebecca Shigley, Angela Hatchell, and Wayne Goodwin. from the NC Department of Insurance.  Frank Gray, our lobbyist, keeps us informed on all legislatiive issues affecting our industry.  Additional speakers have been Phil Lehman, Attorney General's office, Tim Moore, NC Representative, and

Professor Doug Pearce, Head of Department of Economics NC State University.  Caren Enloe and Katherine Peglow, MAP Attorneys, have also shared litigation issues affecting the collection agencies in North Carolina. 

The NCCA Annual Membership Meeting will again be held at the Little River Golf & Resort.  The meeting will be held Thursday and Friday, April 19 & 20, 2012. Golf, shopping, or just relaxing, Thursday afternoon, Reception Thursday everning, and the meeting will be Friday from 8:30 am until 3:00 pm.

Patrick Morris, ACA International Chief Executive Officer will be joining us this year, as well as Jack Gordon with WebRecon, LLC, CEO.  Jack will be addressing the rapidly growing problem of FDCPA lawsuits. Frank Gray, Wayne Goodwin, and Angela Hatchell will be joining us again this year.Voting for officers and directors will be held at the business meeting Friday, April 20.
