Welcome to the Florida Collectors Association home page. We hope that you will find this web site to be
educational and informative.
The Florida Collectors Association is a trade association of professional debt collectors with offices
in Florida. Membership is over 158 members strong and growing. The FCA holds two conferences per year
for its members where they can network with peers and share information of our industry with one another.
Members of the FCA also hold a mandatory dual membership with the Association of Credit and Collection
Professionals ACA International which provides a host of
credit and collection information. The ACA offers information and education on compliance issues as well
as guidance for agencies that want to enhance the efficiency and profitability of their offices
As the collection industry continues to be regulated by both the federal and state governments. FCA
members must stay informed and in compliance with laws and legislative updates. Information regarding
the Fair Debt Collection Practice Act (FDCPA), Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and the
Health Insurance Portability Accountability Act (HIPAA) are
available on this web site. FCA members also have the ability to renew their existing
agency license online.
Mid Year Conference
